Twin Houses designed as modern villas setting a precedent in their surroundings.
A private client requested the design of two matching houses in Northumberland, close to a traditional village. The approach was to create a modern villa that didn’t replicate or copy the local aesthetic, but instead set a modern precedent.
The flat roofed two storey villas are low energy self-sustained designs, making use of the southerly position and air source heating power.
