Howarth Litchfield was founded in Durham in 1979. We have grown into one of the North East’s most established practices while keeping a single studio culture: directors on every job, drawings owned by the people who make them.
Architecture, interior design and chartered building surveying sit in the same room. That is why our work moves confidently between listed fabric, live healthcare estates, occupied schools and new-build workplace.
