The Fire Station in Sunderland, a music and cultural venue within a restored heritage building, has won an RIBA North East Regional Award, national Civic Trust recognition and a National Structural Steel Design Award.
Other work includes multi-sports halls, dance studios and the Royal Grammar School pool in Newcastle.
